This is one where they couldn’t afford to stone clad the back of the college so instead they grew ivy up it…(St John’s?)
Looking pretty good up here – pretty bottle, tasty gin. Japanese Gin is made at the Cambridge distillery using Japanese botanicals – hence the name. It definitely felt like a classy drink for a pretty exclusive place (the only roof bar in Cambridge and with most tables reserved for hotel guests).
Lovely cabinet of gin delights!
Here we have our final selection – for Bonny who doesn’t really like gin, the berry fruit and sweetness of Brockmans (in hindsight I should have gotten this served with lemonade – she didn’t like the bitterness of the tonic either ?)
