For those that love gin I have a few recommendations for places to try out, this page is work in progress and will be added to when I make new discoveries!
My number one gin bar is The Oliver Conquest. They are on Leman Street near Aldgate East and well worth a visit if you want to discover new and different gins – they have over 300!
They regularly host free gin tastings and other special events (paid for) – to contact them or see what events are coming up check out their website: theoliverconquestpub.com/
Graphic bar on Golden Lion Square in Soho has a well stocked gin back bar – not as many as the Oliver Conquest, but still a good 200+!
They also host special gin events and do loads of interesting cocktails. Their website is here: graphicbar.com/
The Colonel Fawcett on Randolph Street in Camden is just around the corner from me! They stock a good selection of gins c.80? Also they have great food and the odd gin event! Their website is here: thecolonelfawcett.co.uk/
I’m frequently in Bath as my family live down there and the Canary Gin bar is owned by the people that make Bath Gin – so local gin by the plenty and lots more to choose from. They make a great martini! Their website is here: thebathgincompany.co.uk
I was in Derby for a work trip and I managed to find a gin bar – The Blacksmith’s Lounge – and drag my colleague there! They do great cocktails and have live music, as well as a great restaurant upstairs. Their website is here: blacksmithslounge.co.uk/
I was also in Alderley Edge, near Manchester, on a work trip and discovered the Railway Café and Gin bar – great fusion Indian food served with twists on the colonial G&T. I tried the local Macclesfield Forrest gin too. Their website is here: alderleyginbar.com/
