Wondering where to celebrate World Gin Day tomorrow Saturday 13 June 2015?
Here’s a brief list of suggestions!
London
Junipalooza
The gin festival run by the Gin Foundry (this is where you will find me!), unfortunately it’s fully booked out now, but look out for future events
On Leman Street by Aldgate East. My favourite gin bar and with 270 gins, including their own which has just launched, there is something for everyone! They also have special offers on gin, cocktails and 10% off for Junipalooza ticket holders 🙂
Around the corner from me on Randolph street in Camden, 70 gins and fantastic food and a beer garden out back make this a great stop!
At 214 Bermondsey (see what they did there?!). Under Antico restaurant serving up a good selection of gins including their ‘guess the gin’ tasters. They make their own tonic water too!
Bloom gin have taken over the Vista bar with plenty going on – book for a cocktail Masterclass or just go for a drink with the view!
A Nicholson’s pub near Carnaby Street in Soho, with a capsule menu of gin – a great choice to get you started!
In a converted public convenience in Kentish Town. They distill their own gin here and also do some fabulous cocktails. Quirky and fun!
Bath
They have a wide selection of gins and their own for you to try – why not start with a Gin Mare Dirty martini?!
Derby
On Sadler Gate in Derby. I was here this week and had a great chat about gin with the manager. Go along for their 241 cocktails mid week and check out Monkey 47 – the bramble cocktail is fantastic! (Full blog on this coming soon)
