So when I headed up there to see them a few weeks ago we made it to the Ravenswood Industrial Estate and the Wild Card Brewery & Mother’s Ruin:
The Wild Card Brewery has a tap bar open every weekend, with food stalls around to feed those indulging in a cheeky half.
You can pick up selection packs of their bottled beers or get a whole crate for a party, you can also take away casks – check out their website here: Wild Card Brewery
There was a festive feel with Christmas trees being sold around the corner and this wonderful mural being painted. Father Christmas was also there – but the kids had already seen him this year (how does he have the time?!)
The children could join in decorating the present with spray paint – fiddly with small hands – they all did a great job! Money from doing this went to charity.
After braving the cold for as long as we could (mainly to watch the girls painting) we headed inside Gods Own Junkyard to warm up and take in the neon.
It really is amazing – full of neon lights and vintage items including some stupendous glitter balls!
We didn’t go for this option, but instead a tasting plate of the different fruit liqueurs they had on offer – oh and some hot chocolates for the kids.
