As I’ve been getting active with couchsurfing this is what to do with your couchsurfer if you only have a few hours in Camden!
I met Antoine and showed him the flat before we headed out with the overall plan to have a drink on Primrose Hill and admire the view. We started off by walking up the canal from The Constitution Pub towards Camden Lock.
This section was really busy as it was a lovely evening to be out, there were commuters cycling home, runners out for the evening and a small party going on near the locks! We came off the canal and had a wander around the Lock market – but this was shutting up at this time so not many stalls still open.
As Antoine wasn’t interested in shopping (limited budget) we headed down Camden High street to find a working cash point (beware those in the market – they seem to run out of cash really easily and don’t tell you this fact!) and then walked up Parkway to get to our original destination via The Zoo in Regents Park.
After walking up the hill we rewarded ourselves with a sit down and a beer at the top.
After the clouds came over & it got chilly we walked back into Camden and grabbed dinner at Wagamamas – I love their noodles and katsu curry – a great place for a filling, healthy & cheap dinner!
