Rainy day in Camden

So what do you do on a rainy day in Camden? (Now that the summer is over this is more likely scenario!)

Well the best answer for that is the cinema! (Unless you actually don’t want to leave the house, in which case it’s Netflix…) but if it’s Wednesday, you have an Orange phone and a friend you can take yourself to the local cinema for 2-4-1 cinema tickets.

So what to watch with your friend? Well I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy the other day at the Odeon Camden Town on Parkway.

Now I had no real idea what this film was about, except that it was based on Marvel comics and the ‘heroes’ were anti-heroes.

So it was a pleasant surprise to see that it was based in space and really funny (although I may have responded more to the humour aimed at younger viewers than the in-jokes aimed at serious fans!)

I don’t want to be a spoil sport so I’m not going to go much further on the film content (I’m known for spoilers..) except there’s going to be a sequel (no great surprise there…)
