Tweed Run

Last month in the midst of my clean eating challenge I went to support some friends doing the Tweed Run.

Now as a typically British event, it’s not a run… It’s a cycle, but you do have to dress in Tweed to take part.

Everyone takes this to heart and the costumes are amazing, with bikes decorated up also! 

Here are my friends the Brompton ladies all dressed up and styling it out!

There were plenty of amazing old bikes out – including several Penny Farthings, this little lad needed help to get up!

Me and my friends met the cyclists at their picnic stop near St Pancras Old Church. There were plenty of themed antics to join in with:

Wax up your moustache?!

Catch the pigeon (hint they aren’t real!)

Tyrrell’s turned up with a trailer of crisps and popcorn

Nom, free popcorn – even better it was lemon cheesecake flavour!

The Tweed Run is in central London and usually gets sold out – so keep an eye out to book tickets for next year!
