Thursday I had a spare half hour whilst I was out near Covent Garden, so I decided to pop into the Stylist Cover exhibition in Charing Cross.
At Proud Central gallery on John Adam street they are showing some of the original art work as well as insight into the creative process to come up with some of the iconic covers for Stylist magazine.
Original stained glass window made specifically for another cover – the shear diversity of art work used is staggering.
As you can see they positively encouraged photos – there were copies of the catalogue to take away and I also snaffled some Lena Dunham badges!!! All for FREE…
So if you find yourselves in town this weekend with a spare 20 minutes – pop in, it’s open until Sunday. Nearest tube is Charing Cross (it’s off Villiers street), so Embankment is also very close and it’s only 5 minutes walk from Covent Garden or Trafalgar Square.
