This lockdown is a long one and is hitting the hospitality industry hard. So why not support your favourite bar or spirits brand and pick one of these classy cocktail sets for a perfect gift for friends, family or even yourself?! I’ve pulled together a select few classy cocktail sets – by set I mean a drink and glasses set, rather than a selection of cocktails (don’t worry that post on lockdown cocktails is coming soon).
Classy cocktail sets for the perfect gift
Classy cocktail set for negroni lovers – Untitled negroni + 2 rose liqueur glasses £58.45
With this set from untitled you can recreate the experience of having a negroni in Bar Termini*. The set includes a bottle of their famous pre-mixed negroni and 2 of their rose liqueur glasses to create their perfect serve. As the negroni pre-mix is already diluted you just need to keep everything cold and simply pour a 50ml measure into the glass to serve.
*(Slurping the top off the full-to-the-brim glass is not classy but it’s memorable!)
You can select from any of the main 4 negronis, Classico, Superiore, Rosato, Robusto or two new ones created over the last year: Bergamot and Arancia Verde (green orange).
For those who love martinis untitled also have a martini set with martini coupettes and also other cocktails with the same glasses they serve them in at the bars.
Classy cocktail set for negroni lovers – Asterley Brothers Pink negroni & crystal tumbler bundle £24.95
Included in this bundle are a pair of stunning heavy based old-fashioned tumblers for Negronis (or other classic cocktails served short over ice) and 2 x Pink negronis to christen the glasses with. The glasses are from the Rocks collection by Nude, with a 330ml capacity and are used in some of the world’s best bars. The Pink negroni is Asterley Brother’s seasonal twist on a white negroni with Schofield’s Vermouth, Cabby’s Gin, pink grapefruit, rose & gentian liqueur (and it’s divine!).
To serve, place the cocktail pouches in the freezer 1 hour before serving. Pour over ice and serve with a strip of grapefruit zest.
Or you can build your own set by buying the tumblers for £13.95 for the pair, and pairing with your choice of pre-mixed cocktail – they have the Pink negroni and a Rhubarb negroni in a 1 litre pack for £44.95, as well as a Fig Martinez for something different. You can even sign up for their monthly Cocktail Club, with either 2, 4 or 10 cocktail servings, plus spirits and mixers to taste and snacks included! If you use my referral code, we both get some free cocktails thrown in: KH0720AU
Classy cocktail set for martini lovers – Sacred mini martini bundle £33.75
Celebrate in style and treat yourself and a loved one to a classic Sacred martini, served the ‘direct’ way of Dukes Bar in London. The mini martini bundle comes with 200ml of Sacred gin, 50ml of Sacred English Dry Vermouth and 2 mini martini glasses (90ml capacity). It’s the perfect starter kit for any martini drinker in training.
To serve a Sacred martini, keep your gin in the freezer (it won’t freeze!) and chill your martini glasses in there too. When you’re ready to serve, rinse your martini glasses with a wash of the Sacred English Dry Vermouth and discard the rest, then top up the glass with Sacred Gin straight out of the freezer. Garnish with an unwaxed lemon peel twist expressed over the top, perfection!
Cocktail set for either martini or negroni lovers – Hepple gift box £60
Hepple Spirits have just launched their gift box, which comes with two beautifully etched glasses with their unique juniper motive on them. This is a fabulous gift and you can select what bottle you’d like included in the gift box, from their pre-mixed pour from the freezer cocktails: Ultrasonic Martini and Ultrasonic Negroni. Or a bottle of one of their spirits, including Hepple Gin, Douglas Fir vodka or their Sloe and Hawthorn Gin.
Hepple gin is made for a martini and having tried their Ultrasonic Martini I highly recommend that, despite being a negroni lover!
Cocktail set for Gibson lovers – The Gibson bar DIY Gibson martini bundle £94.95
If you like your martini’s more on the savoury side, then I highly recommend the Gibson bar martini bundle – it’s the literal home of the Gibson in London!
Included in the bundle is a bottle of Gibson Edition Copperhead Gin (enhanced and redistilled with pickling spices), savoury semi-dry Gibson Edition Del Professore Vermouth, personalised custom made nickel martini glass, branded side bowl for onions, jar with signature double pickled onions, branded cocktails napkins, porcupine cocktails skewers and step by step recipe of “How to make an Ultimate Gibson Martini”.
Cocktail set for aperitivo lovers: Italicus Aperitivo Set £55.55
Italicus is the classic Italian Bergamot liqueur, which is ideal served as a pre-dinner aperitivo in a spritz (find my favourite Italicus olive spritz here).
The perfect Aperitivo set by Italicus includes:
- x1 bottle of Italicus
- x2 handblown artisan glasses
- x2 olive picks
You can also pick up the bits separately, or up your aperitivo game and buy a set complete with aperitivo snacks too!
Cocktail set for gin lovers – Pothecary Cocktail box sets from £35
This month’s set is the Sloe Gin Fizz Lusso. For £40 you get Trinity Blend Sloe Gin, Lunetta Prosecco, and Dorset Foraged-Fruit Tea syrup garnished with organic freeze-dried Strawberries, to serve in elegant Nude coupe glasses.
Box contents; 1 x 100ml Trinity Blend Sloe Gin, 1 x 100ml Foraged Fruit Tea syrup, 1 x 200ml Lunetta Prosecco, 2 x NuDe coupe glasses, 2 x wooden cocktail sticks, organic freeze-dried strawberry slices for garnish.
Each month a different cocktail is showcased using Pothecary gins and the boxes contain everything you need to make the cocktail, from glasses to garnishes.
Which of these options would you choose? (Feel free to share this post as a hint!)

I’m in need of new cocktail shaker for my photos! Any recomendations?
Katie says
Well…. for use I like a Boston Shaker but if you want something pretty mainly for pics then you can’t go wrong with Rosé gold or Copper cocktail shaker – I’m assuming you’re in the US so the sites I would use aren’t applicable – but try Amazon for ideas x

It is always good to know how to make a few different cocktails and have nice glasses to sever them in for friends. Or just enjoy at home with family since we have various restricltions around the world right now.
